报告人简介:
Prof. Martin Romantschuk, PhD, is the professor of environmental biotechnology at the University of Helsinki. With an education in microbiology and genetics, he has more than 25 years of experience in working with protecting and restoration of polluted environments, and he has supervised 12 PhD theses in this area. Of his more than 120 articles in scientific peer-reviewed journal, about half are in the area of environmental restoration. He was the Finnish delegate in the European Commission of COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) action 831, Biotechnology of Soil: Monitoring, Conservation and Remediation,. Currently he leads a research group of six scientists and is involved in several international (Sweden, Latvia, France, Italy, Greece, Hungary) and national research projects. He also collaborates in active especially with national and international enterprises, such as Nordic Envicon, Remsoil Oy, Jiangsu BODA Environmental Protection Co Ltd, and Photon Water Ltd.
