报告人简介:
Dr. Hamid Arandiyan received his M.Sc. in the laboratory of Prof. M. Parvari in Chemical Engineering Department (2007) from the Iran University of Science and Technology. He was awarded his PhD in July 2014, with a ranking of excellent from the School of Environment at Tsinghua University (THU). During his PhD he received several awards and fellowships working under the supervision of Prof. Junhua Li (a world leader in environmental catalysis). In the last 8 years, he was invited to do research at the Zeolite Research Group (2008) in the laboratories of Prof. H. Kazemian where he was a Senior Researcher in the Science and Technology Park of Tehran University. Afterwards, he worked in the laboratory of Prof. Hongxing Dai as part of the Catalysis Chemistry and Nanoscience group at Beijing University of Technology, during his PhD program (2013). In July 2014, just before completing his PhD degree at THU, he was offered a position as a full-timeResearch Associate in the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Australia under the supervision of Scientia Prof. Rose Amal. He was recently awarded (2015) a UNSW Vice-Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Research Fellowship.
He has been actively involved in cutting edge research on developing noble 3D catalysts for vehicle emissions control which will be the foundation for developing the proposed 3D hybrid perovskite structures for VOC oxidation. The high quality of the research is demonstrated by his excellent track record (1 Scholarly Book, 2 Scholarly Book Chapter, >50 relevant peer-reviewed articles, 20 Intl. conference papers, and 3 Patents in research filed of catalysis).
