报告人简介:
Alexander Milner is Professor of River Ecosystems at the University of Birmingham in the UK and is also a Research Professor at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. His research focuses on alpine and Arctic environments and the effect of extreme events on riverine systems. He has worked in Alaska, Greenland, Svalbard, Lapland and New Zealand. To date, Prof. Milner has already published more than 120 academic articles in peer-reviewed high quality journals such as Nature Climate Change, Philosophical Transactions of The Royal Society B Biological Sciences, Global Ecology and Biogeography, Remote Sensing of Environment, Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment,etc.
